ArrowFM is proud to be able to support emerging Indigenous youth in whatever field they are pursuing. Along with being able to provide employment opportunities for Indigenous Australians we have been able to provide support for Australian Rules footballer Matthew Walker in his aspirations to eventually get drafted to the AFL. ArrowFM has provided support in helping Matt relocate to Albury to allow him access to a higher standard of football and coaching.

Djali Bloomfield (our Managing Director) was lucky enough to be able to see Matt play for the Albury Tigers Football Club in the Ovens and Murray football grand final over the weekend, where Matt was actually making his debut for the club after playing the year with TAC Cup club the Murray Bushrangers alongside stints with GWS reserves and the Allies at the under 18 National Championships.

Matt’s team came out victorious on grand final day in a tight contest eventually winning by 8 points over Wangaratta Magpies overturning the result from the previous year.

Matt’s football for the year doesn’t stop there with the AFL draft combine coming up where he’ll be aiming to put his best foot forward to boost his draft stock in the eyes of all the AFL clubs that will be in attendance.

ArrowFM will be supporting Matt all the way and wishes him luck when the draft comes around on November 22 and 23.
